These statistics merely provide estimates and are not exact numbers. Statistics will vary from city to city.

• A majority of our clients do not have a base clinic. Strictly mobile. Some states require you to have some sort of a base, such as your home, to receive pharmaceuticals.

• About 75% of our clients have a tech on board. A tech can not only assist with large dogs but they can answer phones, schedule appointments, input information in the client software as well as collect the payment upon completion of services.

• Most work 5-6 days a week.

• The average “housecall charge” is about $50. You also have the exam fee to be added to the housecall charge.

• The average invoice/dollar for each animal seen is about $250.

• The average daily cost to run the mobile clinic is $300 (all expenses).

• Average mileage in metro area is about 12,000 per year. Fuel cost averages $350-$400 per month.

• Advertising costs have ranged dramatically. Some run about $2400 a year (yellow pages) and others are at about $5000 a year. The graphics on the exterior of your clinic will bring in a good majority of your business. Clients tell us they get 50% of their business from the graphics.

• Most everyone does referrals (they refer to stationary and vice versa)
