Meet the La Boit Staff: Lara Foster, Medical Sales Consultant

August 28, 2025 | 0

My husband and I have been married since 1998, and together we’ve raised three incredible sons who are now grown. I truly enjoy spending time with my kids whenever our busy schedules allow. I’m also lucky to have a close-knit group of friends-decades-strong friendships that fill my free time with laughter, stories, and plenty of adventures.

Travel is one of my biggest passions, especially anywhere involving water. If it’s near an ocean, pool, or river, count me in! Summers are usually spent by the pool with friends or floating down the Mohican River, while winters are for cozying up by the fireplace binge-watching vacation videos, counting down the days until I can be near the water again.

Chris and I are proud members of Genoa Baptist Church and have a growing love for animals, making us self-declared zoo connoisseurs. We share our home with three dogs, Camo, Annie, and Sophie, and our cat Scarlet (yes, we’re Buckeye fans!). I have a special fascination with sea life, stingrays are my favorite, and I can’t resist anything involving sloths. And when it comes to food, a great steak always wins.

Professionally, I spent the first 15 years of my career in the corporate banking world at Bank One/Chase. I then joined my father’s Chevrolet dealership, where I stayed for 20 years until the company was sold. I attempted early retirement, but quickly realized I wasn’t ready to slow down. In 2021, I accepted a position at La Boit, where I plan to stay until I’m truly ready to retire.

At the end of the day, saltwater really is good for the soul.
