Client Spotlight: Vet To Pets

October 12, 2015 | 1

“I feel that only a confident veterinarian would choose to go mobile,” says Michelle Trammell, VMD, owner and operator of Vet to Pets Mobile Veterinary Services. “So the important thing to remember is to ensure that you represent yourself and services well.”

This summer, Dr. Trammell took delivery of her first La Boit-built vehicle, a 28ft 2015 Terrastar Diesel Mobile Veterinary Clinic. From the beginning, the Georgia-based veterinarian knew she wanted a unit that would represent her, and reflect her fun-loving and enthusiastic personality.

On the outside, the vehicle was fully wrapped in bright, eye-catching graphics. Inside, there are colorful graphics pasted on the walls and windows. A disco light even hangs from the ceiling, which has proved to be a hit at community events.

But of course, being a La Boit truck, Dr. Trammell’s clinic is much more than just flashing lights. It’s a serious veterinary office on wheels, featuring a separate surgery suite, full exterior video surveillance, Heska H5 blood work equipment, and thermo imaging.

“Working with La Boit is nothing short of amazing,” says Dr. Trammell. “From sales through to plant managers, we have been thrilled with the service, quality, commitment to detail and support we have received.”

Vet to Pets is 100% mobile, serving the greater Savannah, Georgia area. Since taking delivery of their clinic in July, Michelle and her husband, Bryan, have been very busy with new clients. Their key to success is giving each client a high-touch, personal experience.

“It’s important to make your clients feel welcome and warm once they enter the unit,” explains Dr. Trammell. “Keep it clean, organized and fun without overwhelming them with tech or mantra.”

We would like to thank Dr. Michelle and Bryan Woods for choosing La Boit Specialty Vehicles. We wish them much more continued success with their mobile clinic!
