La Boit Specialty Vehicles is a small, veteran-owned company and great place to work!  We build specialty vehicles from the ground up utilizing several trade skills and are looking to beef up our production teams.

Electrician

Full-time (Four days a week Friday-Monday 5:00AM - 3:30PM)
Starting pay $22-$26/hour. $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days. Benefits after 30 days.

Job Responsibilities:

This individual would be willing to learn what it takes to wire custom mobile coaches with an emphasis on quality. That same individual should have a basic knowledge of AC and DC electric, and or prior experience in a similar setting.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of AC and DC electric or prior experience in a similar setting
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Quality-minded with attention to detail
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Finish Installer

Full-time (Four days a week 5:00AM-3:30PM)
Starting pay at $18/hour or more depending on experience. $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days. Benefits after 30 days.

Job Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities start promptly at 5AM. Looking for a motivated and energetic installer. Installing base cabinets and walls, medical equipment, counter tops, caulking, and installing other equipment as required.

 

Skills/Abilities:

  • Some prior experience required. Will train the right individual.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively.
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
  • Ability to work on a ladder or scaffolding while being on feet for 8 hours a day.
  • Ablility to lift 50 pounds, crawl, bend, kneel, squat and reach below the knee and overhead frequently.
  • Ability to read a tape measure, safely operate hand and power tools, have great attention to detail, take pride in your work and be able to climb in and out of trucks most of the day is a must.

Chassis Assembly

Full-time (Four 10-hour days 5:00AM - 3:30PM)
Starting pay at $18/hour or more depending on experience. $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days. Benefits after 30 days.

Job Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities start promptly at 5AM. Caulking, laying floors, skinning walls, cutting and trimming fiber glass, installing boxes, doors, windows, squaring up walls, drilling and using power tools, wiring coaches both front and rear, spray foaming for insulation purposes, installing hoop and belt rail, installing wheel flares, installing hold opens, installing braces.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Looking for someone who has experience with power tools.
  • Able to work well with others
  • Can pay attention and retain information required to build quality trucks
  • MUST be able to read a tape measure
  • Positive mindset and willing to bring positivity to the workplace

Fabrication

Full-time (Four 10-hour days 5:00AM-3:30PM)
Starting pay at $18/hour or more depending on experience. $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days. Benefits after 30 days.

Job Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities start promptly at 5AM. Bending and welding different types of metal, special projects, providing fabrication needs for the production bays, making bumper brackets, making water fill attachments, lastly installing miscellaneous items that pertain to the vehicle build.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Looking for someone who pays close attention to detail and puts effort into making quality work.
  • Has some kind of experience in TIG/MIG welding.
  • Willing to learn and be open to change.
  • Positive mindset and willing to bring positivity to the atmosphere.

Chassis Prep Bay

Full-time (Four 10-hour days 5:00AM - 3:30PM)
Starting pay at $18/hour or more depending on experience. $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days. Benefits after 30 days.

Job Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities start promptly at 5AM. Laying steel and framing the floor out, making sure the truck and floor are square, installing step wells and boxes, installing Jacks and Pumps, Welding Generator racks to frame, installing mirrors, installing down angles to support boxes, cutting steal to precise measurement, running fuel lines.

Skills/Abilities:

  • MUST know how to read a tape measure
  • Ability to work well with others
  • History or knowledge in welding steel and other raw materials
  • Brings a positive atmosphere to the workplace
  • Able to maintain quality even in a rushed situation
