Client Spotlight: Washington Humane Society Purchases 26ft Adoption Van

June 14, 2012 | 0

Since 1870, Washington D.C.’s only open-access shelter

The Washington Humane Society recently took delivery of their new 26ft La Boit Adoption Van. According to their website, the Washington Humane Society operates the only open-access shelter in the Washington D.C area, providing services to nearly 30,000 animals each year.

Each weekend, the WHS takes their mobile adoption center to shopping centers and other locations in the greater D.C. area with a van-load full of adoptable dogs and cats. Like all La Boit Mobile Adoption Centers, the van features side windows that open for easy viewing of animals from outside the van.

Join La Boit Specialty Vehicles in congratulating the Washington Humane Society on their beautiful new adoption unit. We wish them many great years of service for all the adoptable pets in Washington!
