Client Spotlight: Medical Imaging Consultants

Medical Imaging Consultants (MIC) is an outpatient medical imaging center, locally owned and operated in LaVista, Nebraska.

In 2009, MIC decided to go mobile and commissioned La Boit to build their "MammoVan." The 28ft long coach provides mobile digital mammography to rural hospitals, corporations, clinics and supermarkets. They also take the coach to healthfairs and other community-oriented events to help promote the service to potential customers.

The MammoVan allows MIC to reach a customer demographic that they would otherwise miss. To demonstrate this, we thought we'd let their customers speak for them:

Once inside the mobile site, I forgot I was inside a truck/van, and felt as if I was in a “normal” facility.
