Q. Do I need a special drivers license?

No, a standard drivers license is required.

Q. Will my services be limited?

No. Full service capability is possible X-ray, Surgical, Dentals, and Exams are just some of the procedures you can do. 

Q. Do you offer financing?

Yes, we offer a variety of financing options. 

Q. How much will a full service mobile vet clinic cost?

A well equipped unit can range between $1,700 - $3,000 a month (Depending on options) on a 7 year finance plan with no money down.

Q. Will I need assistance working the unit?

About 50% of our clients choose to have a tech on board.

Q. How many clients can I see in a day?

By appointment only, usually 5-8.  If you choose to park your service   at a location, you can see a much higher number of clients.

Q. What else do I need to consider about going mobile?

We offer “The Housecall Veterinarian’s Manual” by Dr. Carin A. Smith, which can address your questions and concerns. Her book includes: 

• Advantages/Disadvantages of Housecall practice
• Scheduling your time
• Hiring employees
• Setting fees
• Etc.
